Polly Mae finds it's impossible to leave next door's cat alone, especially if the cat happened to be up the tree Polly Mae wanted to climb herself, and the neighbour, Mrs. Donkin, was on the war path. The contents of the suitcase take her on an incredible journey, experiencing the plights of a polish family's escape from war-torn Poland, which had been occupied by the Nazis in 1942.
