Great approach.

It gives great advise about how to deal with children in a non-agressive, very fun and fresh way. Ok, so maybe not everyone can do this...it does require real commitment and lots of time to stick to the program...but hey, thats what having children should be all about, right? I have applied it (as best I could) with my kids and it really did workd miracles.

This book made parenting profoundly easier, as soon as I started listening to it. Many of the struggles I have had with my twin daughters transformed into games that I genuinely enjoyed, and that leave them with ear to ear smiles on their faces. And I’m connecting with them better than ever.

i absolutely loved this book, starting with title, the approach and the interesting anecdotes. this book has made a significant difference to my parenting style in last 6 months or so. I am happy that I chose to read it and make an effort to use the advise as much as I could..I think I now understand a thing or two about parenting myself which is very empowering. earlier I was turning to people around me and was getting conflicting opinions on how to deal with parenting issues..my heartfelt gratitude to Dr Cohen for writing tks wonderful book. this book should be on every parents shelf...

Good Ideas

Would you consider the audio edition of Playful Parenting to be better than the print version?

Never read the print version, the audio version is good: Lots of ideas and examples. At least some of these examples will be applicable or adaptable to some parents cases.
I don't know in real life if playful parenting can be applied all the time, especially when there are discipline issues, and / or when parents want the children to abide by some rules.
In all other circumstances, playful parenting is good, and at least it will give insights and ideas for parents for some good quality time with their children, and even to better understand their children through methods outlined in the audio book.
