Nice and clean

Exactly what I was looking for right now - short clean easy and Christian inspirational stories. I really enjoyed them.

Excellent Narration

Refreshing to read the courage some women had and became mail order brides. Their upbringing and Dreams was to have a home of their own and hopefully love. To go and find he is bethroth to someone else. Of to help the family with money problems, the list is many. These were delightful stories and what they found was not as smooth as they hoped Delightful and the audio added to these stories. Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

I so enjoyed this series

I got this along with a few other (by other authors) audiobooks with a request to review them if I enjoyed them. Most of the books were rather disappointing. This collection was great! The stories were sweet, wholesome, and didn't make me blush. They were well-written as well as narrated. Each story was short, but they were so nice a perfect for a day I didn't feel good.
I recommend and will see about reading more by this author.

I loved these!

The subject of mail order brides has always fascinated me so I really enjoyed these! I also live in Kansas so I enjoyed reading about cities and places that I've been. The characters were interesting and the narrator did a great job. Each story was shorter than I realized so I wasn't ready for them to end, but that was my only problem!

Way better than your average bundle

I fine with getting mail order bride book box sets They are never as good as buying single stories. That is not the case with pioneer hearts all the stories were great and even though I heard the latest story with the father and the twins that too is a pretty good story. Although I totally didn’t agree how the father didn’t reprimand his twins, but they straightened her out like always. This is great for the price and well worth the credit. Not to mention they have one of the best narrators reading the story.

I didn’t care for the ending, so, since this is part of a series, I hope the story continues. I enjoyed the story though!
The narrator was wonderful! Her cadence was superb! A lot of emotion was conveyed just by pausing in the right places and speaking at the right speed! The NY pastor’s discussion was like a snippet from a movie! Perfectly timed and with the right inflection!

This one didn’t end on as much of a cliff hanger! And yes, it did continue where book one abruptly stopped.

Sweet! The twin brothers have married in books one and two and now the first bride’s sister gets her turn at love! But only after a few (wo)man-made detours! I loved this ending!

This story has a very odd title to me, but I enjoyed the story! I probably wouldn’t have bought it as a single book because of the title alone, but as part of the collection, I’m glad I listened to it. The narrator definitely showed the flatness of the groom in this book as he kept his heart closed off to his bride, and she also portrayed a genuine motherly figure as the preacher’s wife comforted the hurt girl! Well done!

Another very strange title to me. It’s a common thread that something bad or scary is the catalyst to show someone their true feelings! That’s definitely evident in this story! True live is finally admitted after a troubling circumstance! I enjoyed the book and will be looking at more from this author!
The narrator continues her excellent depiction with the antics of a couple of misbehaving boys as their torment their stepmother!

Nice stories

The five books are interesting and pull the reader in. Since they are short stories, they don't go into great depth. The characters are well developed, but the story ended all too soon. However, the ending will leave the reader happy. The last two stories were my favorites, but all five are captivating. Each one of these books would have made a great full-length novel. But if you want a short story because of lack of time, I think you will enjoy this boxset.
