The usual excellence from Dianne Duvall.

Of course, the quality of the writing is Diane duvall's usual excellence. But the narration falls far short of what we've come to expect from these books. This reader did absolutely no research on each character's previous characterization and has failed to continue with the style and personalization of Kirsten Potter. which takes A LOT away from the depth and imagery. Too many of her characters who are British or ancient immortals have lost their accents and depth. This NEEDS TO BE REREAD by Kirsten Potter. End of story.

Yuri’s story is sooo sweet.

AND! This book make book 5 better. I was a unique take on a love and ghost story.

What a creative storyline! Loved both the characters story and the narration! Bravo On to the next book

Narrator matters

I love the immortal guardians series, but the narration on this story did it a disservice. The editing was at issue too with several misses. There was actually a blood bag brought to lips and he sunk his FINGERS in. Pour voice distinction between characters. Wrong voices compared to other book narration. And heavy accent. Very distracting.

Sweet but you can skip

This story doesn't give any pivotal information to the overall storyline so if you don't like the narrator on the short stories you can skip ahead. It backs up to where Zac throws vamps through David's window and ends after the compound battle from the same book but this time the love interest is Sebastian's dead sister Cat and 1 of the Russian Imortrals. It is very sweet and sad.

Loved the story

Book 6 is well written must listen to books in order. Story picks up nicely from the previous books and flows well.

Great book, so so narrator.

Love this backstory about Yuri, but when the narrator mispronounces words and cannot do accents properly it gets annoying.

another great novella

I recommend that you read the 5th book before starting this book. Just like the last Novella this books happens in conjunction with the last book. This book follows Yuir. His gift is the same as Marcus's. He can see ghosts. He is immediately taken with Cat. Bastians sister. I loved that Cat was the FMC in this story. Her story didn't seem over, it was unfinished and just didn't seem like the end. Now i know why.

As always i love all the unique ways that Dianne Duvall has of creating characters and how they meet and interact. This book was obviously a little different because they are separated by death. i liked it though it seemed very plausible that Yuri would fall for a Ghost. I'm glad we got some closer with Sabastian and Cat. He loved his sister so much. it just seems cruel to keep it from him.

I'm actually really happy we got this book. I was in tears when Yuir died in the last book. I'm glad that it kind of was a good thing for him.

Yuir kind of cheated death i wonder if Stanaflov did too? Only time will tell.


Im glad in the end Yuri and Cat wont be alone forever. And I hope they can still have an active roll in their families lives.

Enjoyable

I really enjoyed this book. It was short in length but it made up for that fact in the quality and enjoyment I had on the book. Sweet love story full of surprises!
