The usual excellence from Dianne Duvall.

Of course, the quality of the writing is Diane duvall's usual excellence. But the narration falls far short of what we've come to expect from these books. This reader did absolutely no research on each character's previous characterization and has failed to continue with the style and personalization of Kirsten Potter. which takes A LOT away from the depth and imagery. Too many of her characters who are British or ancient immortals have lost their accents and depth. This NEEDS TO BE REREAD by Kirsten Potter. End of story.

Yuri’s story is sooo sweet.

AND! This book make book 5 better. I was a unique take on a love and ghost story.

What a creative storyline! Loved both the characters story and the narration! Bravo On to the next book

Narrator matters

I love the immortal guardians series, but the narration on this story did it a disservice. The editing was at issue too with several misses. There was actually a blood bag brought to lips and he sunk his FINGERS in. Pour voice distinction between characters. Wrong voices compared to other book narration. And heavy accent. Very distracting.

Sweet but you can skip

This story doesn't give any pivotal information to the overall storyline so if you don't like the narrator on the short stories you can skip ahead. It backs up to where Zac throws vamps through David's window and ends after the compound battle from the same book but this time the love interest is Sebastian's dead sister Cat and 1 of the Russian Imortrals. It is very sweet and sad.
