This book was wonderfully done! I fell in love with its characters just like I did in the original. Persuasion has always been the Jane Austin story that pulls most at my heart string and the author captured the same story and wrote it out perfectly for the modern day.

What made the experience of listening to Persuade Me the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed the modern adaptation of one of my Favorite Jane Austen books. I am a huge Jane Austen fan and love those types of stories, but every now and then, it is nice to read a more up to date love story.

What about Jilly Bond’s performance did you like?

She was very good at giving each character a different voice and her inflections and tones were very helpful in getting the listener involved in the story.
It was not boring or monotone to listen to. She did a very good job.

If you could take any character from Persuade Me out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Captain Wentworth. Because I am a romantic.

Hard to explain but the story was just a little different. But it was great! Kept me hooked the entire time and is very well written!

I have read the book already. It just added more life to a book I enjoy.

No. But I will look for more of her work as it is exceptional.
