The Best Plot Ever!
Some don't care for the detail that Anne Perry writes with, but I'm not one of them. For the true armchair sleuth, she let's us inside the head of Charotte and William Pitt, and even Eleanor, but we see the clues as they see them. This book in particular had so many twists and turns that even when you think you know who did it, you don't know enough until the end. What an amazing writer. The nuances of her characters both big and small make this a psychological mystery tour de force.

BRAVO!

Overboard
The narrator is so slow I’ve had to speed it up on Audible. The story is so contrived as to be ridiculous. I like these books generally but as the series goes on it is becoming too long and too nonsensical.
