This book will grab your heart, squeeze and not let go. Amelie Griffin & Nelson Hobbs are amazing narrators and do a wonderful job portraying & bringing the characters to life. Highly recommend listening to this entire series (or reading, if audiobooks aren’t your thing.)

He is a sad puppy

Harrison is not an alpha for sure. He thrust a metaphorical dagger in her heart and screwed himself over. She had to live in the aftermath. Painful. The whole story is sad. I felt that Charlie was an important character to the storyline. His character was never developed. That was a hole in the plot that needed to be filled.

Loved it all!! From start to finish the book is great! Well worth the read!

Had me hooked!

This audiobook was such a great mix of swoon, spice, and small-town charm! The narrators did an amazing job bringing the characters to life, making the romance even more engaging. The chemistry between the leads was on point, and the emotional moments had just the right amount of depth. A few parts felt a little predictable, but overall, it was an easy, heartwarming listen that kept me hooked. If you love small-town romances with strong characters and great narration, this one’s worth the listen!

I liked this one , I didn't love it . I figured out how it would end in the first few chapters.

Such a cute story!

I do not think there’s a single book by Laura Pavlov that I don’t like. This one definitely surprised me. Small town, boy next door, childhood sweethearts, second chance, what’s not to love?

a lovely take on a second chance romance

Harrison and Laney are a lovely take on a second chance romance. Laney is back in town to help care for her mother who is fighting cancer. She’s also engaged to someone back in Chicago so starting her relationship with Harrison again is the furthest thing from her mind. But they’re spending a lot of time together since she is helping out at his family winery while she is home. They both played a part in their breakup and as they both begin to share the reasons, they realize that maybe they aren’t over each other after all. But Laney is holding onto a dark secret that until she’s ready to share she cannot fully be present in any relationship. I liked the narrators in this one - but they are the same as The Legacy, so it is always a little difficult to hear the same voices as different people within the same series.
