Heartfelt and inspiring.

I really love Courtney Walsh’s books and true to her style and fashion, I fell for these characters and felt all the feels listening to their story. I thought it had a good twist and a lot of depth. It definitely has some hard topics and backstory things going on, but the end was so hopeful and happy. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook.

Imperfect love story

For me, it was difficult to like the characters in this book, although it was a very long book. I understand the themes but to me they are treated superficially. It is annoying that the author keeps the “big reveal” for the end but keeps hinting at it throughout the book, like it’s a huge mystery. It was pretty hard to get through so I am not sure about this author. I would definitely not pay for one of her books.
Narration was good, inasmuch as the story is told in third person.
The story itself is about love but somehow it feels like settling, between two aloof, genderless beings.
