Nonsensical plot. Amateurish.
I read the “Chaos Chronicles” and it was interesting. Thought I’d try another of his works. This seems like it was written by somebody with the plot ability of a 5 year old boy. I’d hate to give spoilers, but I s embarrassing. It reads like some withdrawn goth kid who had never talked to a woman wrote it for others like himself. Just embarrassingly awkward. Imagine Napoleon Dynamite in a dramatic role. This is like that. The big plot is learning how to pilot a spaceship by daydreaming. It’s explained just like that. Not fleshed out at all. The romantic involvement seems like it was written by an incel for other incels. It’s funny if read knowing that. Just horrible.
