if you are expecting this to be as good as the first your going to be dissapointed. it was definitely rushed and not on the same level as the first book.

Enthralling Story

The story was addictive, the narrator is spot on. The only thing that prevented me from truly loving the story or the “woke” elements. I guess I’m too old.

So good! Great narration with distinct voices for each character and personality. Amazing story. just amazing.

Loved the characters

I was commuted to the cause these characters were fighting for- the ending was bittersweet but great.

Started off a little emo but got a lot better. It actually made me feel feelings for some characters.

This was such a great series and the narrator did an amazing job. I was at the edge of my seat for majority of the book. Loved August and Kate’s story. Bravo!

Not My Favorite

I absolutely love VE Schwab’s characters and creativity in her other books. Sadly this book was not my favorite.

Devastating and Perfect

I don't know what I expected from this book. Schwab is undeniably talented with words and worlds. What she's built here truly amazing, and the characters are agonizing in how real they are. This book took my heart out, smooshed it around, shredded it and then reattached it with some spit to my insides. Too graphic? Maybe not the book for you then.

Another great sequel

Schwabs second book in this series is even better than the first. I blew through this book in a day and loved every minute of it. I cant recommend this author highly enough

Best chapter book in the whole wide world! I love it because it has some action and romance and it is the best book and you should read it. It’s because amazing because it has amazing written Ness. There is a little bit of cussing, so not for children but, overall it is amazing!
