An enlightening listen!!

This book started off with some great useful ideas and tips on self betterment and improvement. Then section 3 happened. Wow! What amazing golden nuggets of information!! I was thoroughly impressed and cannot wait to try out some of these tips and tricks for relaxation and as Mel says "an orgasm a day keeps the divorce lawyer away!"
I highly recommend reading or listening to this artwork!

nothing held back

I love the raw truth and advice in chapter 26. This is a topic most people do not cover or avoid. Melissa did a great job of sharing real life experience and examples of things that work. She challenged to you to look at yourself and understand that we're all work in process and perfect all at the same time.

Truly Inspiring

This book has truly related to me in so many different ways and has inspired me. I just like you use to get scared and my way out was to run from whatever it was the was bothering me. I have always been deathly scared of marriage (even though I did get married and had a family) my fear of it not working out came true. This book has inspired me to think differently about all areas in my life and what I want for my future. Not to settle. The importance of womens health. Im all about self discovery and want nothing but true happiness physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Some useful advice but some of it is common sense!

She had some good advice about soulful sex but some of them were common sense. She is a joy to listen, though. I didn't care for the occasional "psft" sound she was making. It was a little annoying.

Beautiful book by a beautiful soul

I’ve loved Melissa since discovering her first book Mastering Your Mean Girl at About Life in 2016. Since then I’ve devoured her podcasts and have felt like she’s been a spiritual big sister to me. Open Wide is a beautiful work. I’m excited to read what she writes next!

The written version is likely better

Though this book is geared towards a younger audience (late 20s or so), the author does have a few good points. I’ll be interested to see how she grows in her thinking in the coming decade.
However... her reading is painful. I honestly couldn’t get past the first couple of chapters because her cadence is SO exaggerated. It’s distracting and unnecessary; that hyper-feminized, sing-song style of reading is completely unnatural and unnecessary, making the points seem silly and saccharine. Honestly the producers should have corrected this before publication.
