Ryan West is the best part

So the male narrator is the best part of this book. (The female narrator made the fmc seem ridiculous to the point of being cheesy). The mmc is mean. Mean for the sake of being mean. He states that he’s not a monster early on. And he’s not per se as in a mafia type book. But he’s just mean to the fmc. I really can’t even call this a romance at this point. In the beginning it seemed like he might be obsessed with the fmc but I don’t think that’s it. I feel like this book is too disorganized for that. I can’t even believe that there’s 2 more books. The fmc says she feels wanted. Huh? How sad! He goes places without her, speaks to her like a jerk, and treats her poorly! Unbelievable. Although, he does say things in a backhanded compliment-type of way at times. (“You really are very simple, but we can fix that” - or something along those lines). And sadly, she eats it up. Even when he does something romantic , he has something nasty to say. This book is not as sexy as it seems. The blurb makes it look so exciting it had so much potential. I will definitely not be going on in the series. I barely finished this one, and only because I spent the credit.

So boring…

This book was so so boring. I can’t believe this is a series because it was not engaging at all. The “action” was stifled by too much talking, drama, and monologue. It was like watching a soap opera with really bad actors. Lol. I do not recommend.
