these books should be the next space series to replace the Expanse series. HBO, hello!? great story, great reader. love how it's written, not disappointed and cannot wait for the next read/ listen

Decent but safe

A bit predictable. And to safe of an ending, it could have been used as a build up for the next book or setting the stage for the current situation, but alas.

A great series

l have enjoyed listening to this book and fully recommend the series. I have both read the books and am now working my way through the audio books.

This is one of the best series I’ve listened to in a long time can’t wait to hear the next one

Can't waiti for the next book!

If your here, you probably have listened to the first two, lets just say its just keeps getting better! First class writing with a first class performance. I had to restrain myself from staying up too late listening and it wasnt easy....I settled on 4 hours of sleep from my normal 7. There just isnt a good pausing point!

one of the best

I loved the combination of navy, space, and some of the best scifi I've read in a while. also the narrator is pretty good. he really puts the Grim, in Jacob Grim.
my one and only criticism of this series is that the Long Nine is only used twice, ever. but it makes sense that jacob wouldn't want to use it again, especially against ships that weren't big enough to warrant its use.

the story is fantastic and the performance is brilliant I love the Jennings sounds like she's from Texas it's exactly how I picture her.

Great book

This is a fine end to the first three books. I loved the ending! I'm ready to read more about Grimm and his adventures in the next one. This was a great set of books. Haskell has really done a great job.

One of the best set of sci-fi books i have read

This review is for the Grimm's War series of books. I thoroughly enjoyed all the books story and the narrator's performance. The story line was excellent, it was well thought out, flowed well, excellent character development, action-packed, plausible space travel technology as well as weapons and other technology. The only issue was it was never explained how they could accelerate and travel so fast until there was one sentence in the third book that addressed the lack of gravity on the crew during acceleration and it seemed plausible. After finishing the first book i quickly bought the remaining books so I would have no break in the story after finishing a book. I wished there were more after the third book. Any sci-fi fan would enjoy these books. Outstanding!
