Great story for any age!

I enjoyed the book all the way through. I enjoyed the characters, the story line and the different paths that were woven throughout. As the Gigi/Sally story played out, I was surprised by her prodigal revelation. (in a good way) I've now read it once and listened twice. Good job.

Good plot

Although the plot was good….. it went on and on without much suspense or enjoyment. I finished just because but not my favorite by this author.

Narrator at the beginning...

She was very gaspy when reading to the point of distracting. I almost did not make it through the first chapter, but it slowly got better.

Typical love story

I would have liked to know more about the main characters as a couple. I did like the way Sally/Gigi was able to touch and be a part of so many lives.

All 3 books were really good. The stories all tied together it was a wonderful clean romance series.

decent story line, some of the interactions were redundant and unnecessarily drawn out. Overall not a regretful experience.

a good coming of age novel

I was afraid this would be some Regency romance type story but it wasn't. It is much more of a coming-of-age story with a little romance. It is a clean read so safe to listen to in public. The narrator did well with the various character voices.

Depressing

Too dark and depressing to read. Unpleasant people, unpleasant circumstances. Not interested in gloom and doom, even if it turns around at very end.
