Fun Princess Story

What did you love best about Once Upon a Cowboy?

Don't we all wish we were a princess sometimes? Fun story about what happens if a princess is caught in America without a security guard. I would head west too!

What about Lara Asmundson’s performance did you like?

Lara's performance was excellent. The reading flowed well and did not detract from the story line at all. I am excited to read more in this series.

A sweet story of two people from two different worlds who will find a way to stay together.

Amazing book

Love this book it was exciting and loving all at once. It had thing happing continues, iwad an amazing book and can't wait to listen to the next book.

This audiobook was given to me for a free unbiased review. This was great. I loved the modern day western version of snow white. Really likes how it was a clean romance. perfect length.

Cowboys and Princesses? Who da thought?

Sweet almost comical tale of "Bear" Gideon and Princess "Allie"! A wonderful blend of tough and soft, dirty and pristine, cowboy and princess! I can't wait to listen to the next book!

A great read and I want to read more. Be sure the military terms are correct. Navy= Sailor. Air Force= Airman. Army= Soldier. Marine= Marine.

The Princess finds her Cowboy?

Alessandra is a Princess visiting NYC when her bodyguard dies protecting her. On the run after the assassination attempt, she finds herself in the bed of a pickup truck in the Dallas airport. Gideon is at the airport to pick up his brother, Matt, who is on military leave. When they discover someone has stowed away in their truck, they really don't know what to think.

If you enjoy fairytale retellings, this is a pretty good book. However, I do have some problems with it. First of all, the blurb says that Alessandra winds up in Oklahoma, not Texas. How do you make such a mistake on a blurb? I was dissatisfied with the ending in a lot of ways. I imagine that the story continues in further books, but I felt like I was left hanging in the ending. Way too many things that were brought up throughout the book were never answered.

The narrator did a pretty good job, but as with a lot of female narrators, the men's voices just didn't work for me. If you are looking for a sweet, clean romance, this is enjoyable enough. I was given a copy of this audiobook by the author/narrator/publisher and chose to review it.

Once Upon A Cowboy was a sweet romance that I just loved! Princess Alessandra escapes an assassination attempt and ends up stowing away in the back of a pickup truck. When she is discovered by Gideon and his brother, she is taken back to their ranch for protection. Gideon expects that Alessandra will have trouble fitting in with their simple lifestyle and is surprised that she is not what she seems. A poisoning that almost kills her make him realize that he loves her and needs her in his life, regardless of their obstacles. This was a short listen but very enjoyable and the narration was well done. I would recommend Once Upon A Cowboy.

Sweet Story!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I definitely would suggest this book. It is an original story featuring a princess on the run and a cowboy. The story has suspense and a sweet love story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Allie (Princess Alesandra) since she was so caring. She may have been a royal princess and beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside. She also had the inquisitive nature to understand the man and not the position.

What does Lara Asmundson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Lara Asmundson is a very talented narrator. I really liked her performance and would definitely look for more books that she is part of. This book is part of a series, yet it is a standalone listen.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I liked it when Gideon discovered Allie in the back of his truck hiding. He didn't know her, but still wanted to protect her.
