I really enjoyed this book. It’s a sweet clean second chance romance. The narrator spoke clearly and the performance was good.

Enjoyed the story

The story was good...sweet. I really liked the characters. I read it a while ago. When I got the chance to get the audio, I jumped on it. There are other narrators that I prefer, but Em Eldridge wasn't bad. Worth the read/listen!

Nice little romance with country folks and ranches learning to overcome grief and losses. Enjoyable story.

I enjoyed the narration. The story was fine. Not enough drama for me. I would recommend this book for a beach read.

A SWEET STORY, FULL OF HOPE

KISSED BY A COWBOY is the first book in the Heart of Oklahoma series. I don’t know yet if they will need to be read in order, though this story was complete with no loose ends.

One of the things I liked best about this story is that there were no millionaires. These were normal, honest, hard-working people who are making it through life just like the rest of us. They have bills and dreams. They have heartbreak and hope. They have tears and laughter. I loved it. I loved Katie and could completely understand her shy, quiet nature. I felt so much for Maddox, who had the world by the horns, but has put family before his own dreams. And I cheered as they found their dreams together. There were also the dreams of a little girl to be nurtured and they made me smile as well.

All in all, this story was a big happy heart from start to finish, with just enough angst to make it interesting.

I loved listening to this story and hope I get to hear more from this author and this series.

This was a sweet and clean little story, narrator did a nice job and the writer did a nice story. Enjoyable listen

Sweet Heartfelt Novella

I love the way this story was written. It starts off with our heroine, seventeen years old Haley Carston looking into a full length mirror at her pink poofed prom dress. She looked like a strawberry cupcake. This was a mistake. Why had she let her best friend Katie talk her into this. She and Katie were total opposites. Haley had just moved into town and was extremely shy. From the first day Katie, the out going popular girl had taken her under her wing. Her date for the prom was Katie's older brother Maddox, who she is secretly crushing over. Many years later when Haley returns to town to take care of her aunt, who has been diagnosed with cancer, she never thought about running into Maddox. But every girl remembers her first kiss. Lacy Williams does such a great job weaving for us a heart warming novella. Haley's return to town helps each of the family members learn to grow and move on. I enjoyed and would recommend this book. Being able to listen to it as an audible book made it even more enjoyable.
