Acerca de esta escucha

Ninety percent of the world's population has been obliterated by war. October 25, 2036, North Korea struck. The virus inside the bomb was named "Omega Virus" because it brought about the end. The remaining 10 percent of the population has taken to the streets fighting to stay alive, fighting for hope.

First, there's no mention of zombies in the book description, but by chapter 2, there they were. I hate zombies. Zombies will never be, and they're boring. Second, this reader is the absolute worst. His female voices were laughably bad, and his male voices were forced into a deeper register and monotone. The narration was done in a distracting sing-song with the emphasis on the wrong words. I couldn't even make it through chapter 4, I'm sorry to say. The characters were not described, except for the tan man who kept the group focused on what needed to be done. Tan. Really fleshed that one out. By chapter 4, I should at least have known who they were and what they looked like, a little something about their personality. The virus was not described except that the death was agonizing. The virus was dispensed, it killed off most of the world's population within the first chapter, and it was a short chapter. By chapter 4, they were running out of food and water and surviving on roots. I couldn't take any more. Even if you love zombie stories, you may want to think twice before purchasing this one.

I couldn't survive the horror of this book.
