SEXY, HOT, EXCELLENT LOVE STORY

This Book did NOT disappoint!! The spicy chapters are HOT af & the emotional chapters will have you in tears. This is my 1st time hearing Lessa Lamb narrate & she is Phenomenal!! Of course Joe is always Phenomenal, but the 2 of them together - SUPERB!!

I listen to this story often. The plot is great and the voice actors are amazing!!

The Story draws you in

This is my 1st read from this author and over I enjoyed this story with a few exceptions
Not sure if it’s just me but I’ve not enjoyed many women narrators & since the 1st half of the story is told by the female lead, was so excited when it finally got to my fav guy Joe Arden as he is amazing !
I would have enjoyed much more if the whole story were told by him as the way she spoke was a bit annoying at times and especially at the end.
The story was well written and I enjoyed the journey she took us on in their lives

This story is about a professor who is obsessed with a student (Nicholas and Phoebe). He has constantly followed her or stalked her for nearly four years without her knowledge until one morning. Phoebe was in a bind and she did something wrong and he was there to witness it, he now has her where he wanted her.


Lessa Lamb gives real emotion to Phoebe in the telling of Obsessed. Joe Arden make the a drool worthy performance with Nicholas, the Professor, and leaves you wanting more. Especially after chapter 25🔥🥵🔥

A Sexy and Seductive Read!

What a mouthwatering recipe that is! You best believe I was here for all of it. Phoebe and Nicholas’ story was one full of intrigue and had you ensnared in its grasp.

Though Phoebe tried her hardest, it was impossible not give into Nicholas’ enticing whims. I did enjoy when she’d stand her ground with him. You also couldn’t help but admire Phoebe because home girl was a straight up hustler. She did what she had to do to provide for herself and Scotty. Her situation also kinda broke my heart at times. Her anxiety, frustration and feelings of being overwhelmed was something I felt right along with her.

Once Nicholas sights were set on Phoebe, it was game over.
Was he a good man? Definitely debatable. He was obsessive. Possessive. Demanding and at times cruel. But, I loved how there was more to him than what meets the eye. There was something about him that was undeniably addicting with a hidden soft spot for a select few people. That soft spot showed a whole different side of Nicholas, I mean the scenes with him and Scotty had me an absolute goner.

Sexy, twisted, scandalous, seductive…Serena Akeroyd weaved a tantalizing tale that made it hard to walk away from until you devoured the whole thing.
Joe Arden and Lessa Lamb were the perfect pair, they wholly embodied Nicholas and Phoebe superbly.

Obsessed…yes!

I really enjoyed this story. It flowed at a great pace and built tension. Narration was glorious! Joe, oh Joe, the way you growl and portray your feelings as you narrate light my soul on fire! No one says F……like you and my oh my was it ever so perfect in this story. The dark love that Nicholas has for Phoebe is beautiful. The few beginning lines about stalking cracked me up. Lessa did a fabulous job and has such an amazing way of portraying her characters. She has a way of using the tempo of her narration to really build a scene or to represent the feeling of her character. Fabulous all around!

Good not great

It was a good story but forgettable not one that I will want to relisten to like some books on here but it was entertaining and the performance was good Lena lamb was a little whiny in parts but overall I liked it the male narration was 🔥

It was just OKAY

Nothing to write home about. Spice level a 2.5 story line could have been better. The ending was drawn out

I did not know Serena Akeroyd's body of work until I received a recommendation from my Discord Book Club to start reading Obsessed. So Serena Akeroyd is now my Obsession!

Joe Arden and Lessa Lamb bring to life the story of Nicholas Maclean and Phoebe Whitehouse, two twisted souls searching for a light to shine on their tortuous lives. The exceptional narration enhances Ms. Akeroyd's Obsessed world.

Their relationship is preternatural, and Nicholas compares it to a Yayoi Kasuma painting.

NSFW Chapter 25 will have you breathless with the mere instruction of "on your back." Chapter 32 will make you rethink your college graduation celebratory dinner.

Ms. Akeroyd's visuals of New York City streets are reminiscent of Jonathan Lemkin's adaptation of Andrew Neiderman's The Devil's Advocate. As her bucolic farm life in France reminds us of Peter Mayle's A Good Year, directed by Ridley Scott.

Nicholas is perfection!

So, The Professor was the first book by Serena Akeroyd that I read (well, actually listened to) and all I can say is this update is just perfection! The combination of everything that I loved about Phoebe and Nicholas plus the new scenes that were added…just *chef’s kiss*. Nicholas is such a a-hole but goodness do I love him!

Seriously, Serena does an amazing job of not only bringing these characters to life but also making you want the jerk to be redeemed. There isn’t a book of her’s that I have read that didn’t pull me in and make me want to eat, sleep, and breathe it. Obsessed is everything and I am so glad that Serena was able to give us all those little extras!

I was able to listen to the updated version, as well, and Joe Arden and Less Lamb did an amazing job helping to bring Nicholas and Phoebe to life!
