Inspiring - beyond the classroom and beyond these pages!

I am one of the lucky ones. I had the privilege of sitting at desk inside of B2 at San Lorenzo High. Even then, she empowered each and every student to be present and own our thought/ideas/dreams. I of course read this when it was first released, but reading it again with her voice guiding me through each page takes me back to 2007. Thank you for sharing your story. For being vulnerable. For reminding us that we are lifelong learners, even when the subject we are learning is ourselves.

You lead with your heart and exposed so much of yourself. I thank you. I thank you for reminding me that although we go through our different life paths, there are emotions that we all feel. The good, the bad, the hurt, the joy - no matter the emotion, there are lessons attached to each one.

The bow on top - you incorporated quotes from fellow badass women. Great addition and know that someday, someone, will be listing you.

Highly recommend this book and audiobook. Do yourself a favor and open your heart to hear her story.
