Would I listen to it again: absolutely
Did the story keep me engaged: completely
Was I invested in the characters: totally

Story comment: I dove straight into the Trouble Brewing series after finishing the Agents Irish & Whiskey series. This review encompasses the three Trouble Brewing series books (Imperial Stout, Craft Brew and Noble Hops) because I see the three books as the whole story.

I really enjoyed the dynamic between Nic and Cam's characters, their banter, the way they worked, bounced off and grounded each other completely drew me in and the action and adventure of this series kept me completely immersed. Each book has a good pace, and I enjoyed the overall story-arc of the series. Nic is my favorite character in the Whiskey world books and his story (Noble Hops) was my favorite.

Narrator comment: I enjoyed Tristan James's narration and think he's done a great job narrating this series. There are a variety of accents and character personalities in the 7 available books in the Whiskey world series and it's spin-off's and they have all remained consistent and reflected the personalities of their characters.

This series will happily go onto my "re-listen" list 😊 I was completely immersed in the adventures and wish there were more

New to me author. I wasn’t aware until I started to listen to the first book that this was an on going series.

Nick and Cam story was pretty easy to follow. Now I’ll have to listen to Whiskey’s story to see how they really met. These two men have a lot of history between them of lives that have been lived hard and always trying to fight the good fight. Together they seem to make an unstoppable team. Of course they both have excessive baggage but what good romance doesn’t. Strong and believe that justice rules over all they were a good couple to follow and Tristan is an easy person to listen to.

Better than Whiskey & Irish

This series was better than the original with whiskey and Irish. Which isn’t usually the case with spin-offs. Loved the MCs!

Love this series!

Love FBI agent Cameron Burns and Assistant District Attorney Dominic Price. The chemistry between these two is amazing and the sex hot. Lots of mystery and action, storyline continues over 3 books. Tristan James is an amazing narrator, one of my favorites. Awesome series!
