The. Narrator sucks. And...

If. You think. This. Is annoying, then. You. Most certainly will. Not. Like the. Way that the. Narrator. Narrates. The whole entire. Audio. Book. (Otherwise, this is one of Dan Kennedy's most important books.)

Great boom, but who is reading this?

Love the book! Amazing content!
Not sure why the person reading the book is pausing after every 4th word. Almost robotic.

Still worth working through this book!

Great book

It’s my go to book, for getting my self the right frame of mind. The only objection I have to the content is the full endorsement of Dave Ramsey. I agree with the idea of not being in debt, but I do not fully agree with Dave Ramsey‘s philosophy, that being said, I think this is a great book and that’s why I’m giving it five stars in every category in spite of that endorsement.

Great content

This book has great content. Definitely worth the time. Audio is a little hard to listen to but if you can focus on the content and not on the way the reader presents it you’ll get a lot out of this book.

Excellent content but horrible narration

Overall the book content was extremely helpful, but I’ll probably purchase the book because there was so many references to other recommended book titles and websites. On the negative side, the narration was horrible and distracting. The narrator read the book like a robot with weird pacing that did not sound natural. I can’t understand how this book passed Audible’s standards (I’m assuming there’s a review process) I hope Mr. Kennedy decides to re-record this book with a better narrator.

Don’t purchase the audiobook, buy the book

The content of this book was great, however the Voiceover is so robotic and dry that it is painful to listen to and I would have absorbed the information much more easily if it were being read by an kindergartner learning to read. I would recommend that you not bother with the audiobook version and just purchase the hardcopy to read.

this book will open your eyes to many opportunities with the real message if you want it you must go after it.

Amazing book - Horrible narrator

This book is absolutely amazing. But the narrator is absolutely horrible. It made it hard to get through the book but the book is so good I made sure to finish it.

Another Lead Magnet “Buy my sh*t” book

The voice sounds super robotic. Imagine someone pinching their nose and reading an average of 5 words at a time. Even at 3X speed it’s intolerable.

Then the author slides a call to action to buy his other books or go to an affiliate site or get in his program like literally every 5-10 minutes.

There’s decent advice but overall, not very helpful.

Don’t let the narrator stop you from listening to this book

Put the playback on 1.25x to make the narrator’s strange halting speech pattern a little more understandable. The narration very well could be a computer voiceover. The intonation is very strange and uneven. No flow.

That said, the content in this book is important for entrepreneurs, and is very good at putting you in a strong entrepreneurial headspace. I will definitely re-listen again in the future, despite the strange narration.

One of the higher-value entrepreneurship books I’ve read/listened to out of dozens. Strong recommend.
