Based in a deep understanding Osho responds to a very personal question related to issues of suicide. "In this neurotic world, if you are sane, sensitive, intelligent, either you have to go mad, or you have to commit suicide – or you have to become a meditator, a seeker." This new audiobook provides a sample of how difficult appearing issues, which usually create a kind of helplessness in people, can be turned around to an incredible opportunity for personal growth.©1977 OSHO International Foundation (P)2016 OSHO International Foundation Desarrollo Personal Exito Profesional Motivación y Superación Personal Éxito Personal

This was another Osho talk that had multiple questions. The first question was about suicide because a person had many family members commit suicide and was concerned about the implications. Osho stated that these people were likely sensitive and intelligent and that we should understand nobody takes that decision lightly. He pointed out that in India people are far less likely to commit suicide and that's because they can just drop out of society. They can become a renunciate or a sannyasin and thus their life will gain meaning. He specifically stated that part of the issue is how heartless and insane society is and how overwhelmingly pointless it all is and that rather than commit suicide one should consider renunciation. He also mentioned that in India even the insane or mentally ill are respected and treated well and given food. That ultimately a sage and a mad man are both out of their mind and have much in common. He answered many other questions in this one that are beyond the ability to mention in a review but one other part that stuck with me was his answer to a question about fear at the end. He said fear is something to be understood and not repressed or defeated. For fear cannot be defeated or destroyed. To understand that fear resides in the ego and that the ego ultimately does not exist and that it is a creation of the mind. Thus if their is no self and that which is eternal, the still silence beyond the mind is deathless: therefore there is nothing to fear. This is just a handful of the things mentioned in this speech. This was one of the best Osho talks in my opinion. The topics of suicide, the ego, death and fear are well worth thinking about and this was a good listen.

Suicide, the ego, death and fear are all addressed in this Osho talk.
