A really fun listen! Fast paced action with a memorable cast of characters that I feel have room to grow. Narrator captivates you from start to finish with a masterful performance that’s as funny as it is menacing. Give it a listen!

Hoping that this is only the start of something

A great listen with the potential to really create a grand narrative arc over many more books. The narrator’s execution of so many of these characters and moments is nothing short of spectacular and really elevates the experience, as an audiobook should.
The world Dr. Kirstein has created has so many rich layers and avenues to explore that I can’t help but feel he’s saving something truly special for later. As a result, my obligatory point of criticism on the piece would be that the run to the end can feel a little rushed in moments, but I was narratively engrossed throughout nonetheless, and often that quick pace can feel exhilarating.
A really excellent effort from all involved. Would highly recommend.
