Great addition
While I thought this book was great I am a little upset about the ending. I am not going to soil it for those who have not read it yet, I will just say it was way too soon for this to happen……..way way too soon. Those who have read the story will know exactly what I am talking about and I am certain they will be of the same opinion.

Damn you Greg Hurwitz and Scott Brick!!!
I’m not crying your crying! Best orphan X yet. Amazing how you built a character like these. I found myself taking sides between Tommy and Evan and changing whose side I was on. I heard Scott Brick say Greg Hurwitz is few of the writers who surprise him. He hit the nail on the head I try to figure out what will happen before it does . However like he said there’s always a surprise in the books.

Too many words
Love the series, but about 1/2 the word needed to be trimmed. Please give the series a three or four year rest period before the next book.
Mia, Peter, his brother and family missing from this book - strange. X trying to protect things like kids, brothers and friends not directly related to him. X has/had all of the above, but no contact with them???

Did NOT see that ending!
I love the Orphan X series and Scott Brick brings the adventure to life perfectly. I am on the edge of my seat.
I binge listen. Total addict - like the entire book in 2 days! i don't even talk to my family!! (I know, it's bad.) I love my family but how wrong is it that I am so impatient for the next book??

Gregg Hurwitz does it again!
The Orphan X series is probably the best book series I’ve ever read. I have all of them on Audible and I listen to them at least once a year. I never get tired of them. Amazing!

Evan becoming more human
I enjoyed the reading of thr story with so much feeling, getting to glimpse who Evan is compared to where he came from. Seeing Tommy care about Hicks, Jr. and see him for a young, lost person who didn't have many chances. The love and respect that actually existed between Evan and Tommy. Evan's code of justice, trying to even the playing field for the underserved.
