Necessary Deeds - a thrilling adventure worth taking
Mark Wish has outdone himself with Necessary Deeds. A top notch piece of work. Skillfully written, professionally put together, and attention holding until the end. This book is intelligent, original, and clever. The pace is great, the style is elegant and it's the kind of book that spoons with you at night for a few days after you've read it. The narrator is fantastic too. Simply - frigging brilliant!

Noir fiction at its best!
Think Maltese Falcon. Think The Third Man. Killer on the loose? Check. Femme Fatale? Possibly. Crime of passion? Crime of envy? Wry, sardonic, smart, playful, and deliciously tight. I loved listening to this book and will be ordering a paperback for a friend. Highly recommend!

Necessary Deeds is a Necessary Read
This novel bridges the gap between literary fiction and thriller, giving the readers a fresh look into the dog-eat-dog literary world where people literally kill to get ahead. Highly recommended!
