Another stellar performance!

This is one of the best original audible series, Abdul-Jabbar is a true Holmesian and the reading by Damian Lynch is the icing on the cake.

Brilliant set of books

As a big Sherlock fan I was not left disappointed. Brilliant prologue to Sherlock stories and gives another dimension to Mycroft

Damian Lynch is Fabulous

I wish that Kareem, Anna, & Damian would do at least two more trilogies if not more. Loved all of the books in this trilogy. Damian is absolutely phenomenal in his narration of the books. He has given each character their own distinct voice through his voice. Can' t wait for more stories from these three incredibly talented storytellers.

Please don’t let this be the last Holmes by KAJ

I have loved this series, each being well crafted and so enjoyable. The author really brings the reader into his vision of England in the 1880s. The phraseology is clever. The darker elements of poverty and prejudice of the times( and now) are not ignored. There is the right amount of humour which I much enjoyed. The voice performance by Damian Lynch is just perfect. I will seek out others by him.

Great as always...except the end

No spoilers but the ending was too quick and felt rushed. Looking forward to whatever comes next. I also hope these get turned into movies. Can definitely see the casting in my head already.

4.5 stars really…liked the stories but wish…

There is several plots and subplots in this book which is well acted. Each character is flushed out and interesting. It just felt it could have been 2 books after a certain point. In fact if they actually wrote out an expanded part of the mystery(ies) then I would pick that up too and feel some things were left on the table. If you are a Holmes or mystery fan, you will enjoy the book.

True to the Doyle style

love the characters! going right direction, i like how the perspectives of the characters is very consistent. there are a couple preachy narratives that dont seem to serve a purpose except to flesh out the characters, butin the end, you hardly notice it as they blended in. that old fashioned writing stylecarries the story and their perspectives perfectly. i cant wait for the next one!

I've fallen quite deeply into this version of the Holmes brothers. All 3 books are fulling engaging. I do hope for more
