Great addition to this series!!

This was such a touching, great story and in true Melissa Foster fashion, she had me hooked to the story from the start to finished. Grant, a disabled yet angry veteran for all that he has lost while struggling to find his present life while being reclusive and distant from those who truly care for him. Enter Jules or Pixie. She is his sister's best friend and a woman that has had feelings for him for some time. She also knows of emotional pain and does not want to see that same time of pain for Grant or his family. She brings light and positivity to Grant and wants to share her happiness for life. The pair have amazing chemistry together and a roller coaster of an emotional story to boot. Also in true Melissa Foster fashion, family plays such an important roll for this pair as it does with all of her books. In the audio version that was narrated by Jennifer Mack and Aiden Snow and this pair did a great job bringing the story to life and making it an enjoyable listening experience. Overall, this was a great read that I enjoyed from page one. I would also recommend this book to others.

Life of a wounded but well loved soldier. Very interesting on using your best words and deeds to heal them.

worth the wait and then some

I can tell you this I was so excited to get the ebook..... but I was EXCITED!!! when I got the audio. I was excited to see what two people both damaged in different ways and both came out with a different outlook on life and those around them. I loved...LOVED spending time on Silver Island again. Another couple to put under my love from Silver Lake. Community and family.

Now as I was saying in the beginning.... I am not sure where to start with what had me turning each page after page. Grant Silver and Jules Steele were just so good together. They were a match that Grant could not see happening. Jules ever the optimist was all in from go. I want to tell you everything, but I also want you to read it all for yourself. I will tell you this tho it was not easy. It is not all sunshine, roses, and happy faces. This one was work. Grant and Jules had to work for their forever. And that for me was the best part.

I believe that MF has done it again and again. She brings fresh new characters with a spin on their lives, but I could feel at the heart its family, friends, love, and so much more. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to making a new world open up to so many of us. Giving us hope and dreams.

Aiden Snow does his job to perfection. You fall in love with the characters with just his voice connection. Jennifer Mack hello you contribution was not lacking. Thank you. The characters are strong and provide a connection.

Beautiful Story!

This is the second book in The Steele at Silver Island Series. Jules And Grant’s story is beautifully written, emotional, heartbreaking, and heartwarming afterward. Jules is such a beautiful character, sweetheart, caring, and supportive. Grant is a survivor, broken, and grumpy. They are opposites attract, but they are so perfect together. Their journey is filled with drama and romance. The supporting characters are amazing. I love the family bonds in this story. Jennifer Mack and Aiden Snow did a fantastic job with the narration. #AudiobookObsession

He spends most of his time angry and alone until his sister's best friend decides it's her mission to bring him back to the person he was before.

Jules sees the bright side of any situation. She's had a crush on Grant forever and is determined to help him find his way back to his family and friends. As she inserts herself into Grant's life, he realizes it's easy to confide in her about his lost military career, the riff with his father and how he doesn't know what to do with the rest of his life. When the chemistry between Jules and Grant is to much to deny, they embark on a love story for the ages. Jules is the sunshine to his darkness and with her in his life, anything is possible.

Aiden Snow and Jennifer Mack are fantastic narrators! Another wonderful story by Melissa Foster!

A Steamy & Romantic Love Story

This was a steamy and romantic story with so much heart! Melissa Foster’s storytelling is simply amazing with the witty dialogue, tender moments and sexy times between Grant and Jules. I totally adored Jules and how much she supported Grant and got him to live his life again. Narrators Jennifer Mack and Aiden Snow were absolutely fantastic with their performances and really brought the characters and story to life. I loved listening to this audiobook and will definitely be one I re-listen to again.

My True Love is is definitely an opposite's attract book! Jules always tries to see the bright side of every situation while Grant is angry at the world and just wants to be left alone. Like all the books I've read by Melissa Foster, this one has interconnecting characters and a strong emphasis on family. I loved how Melissa Foster had Jules react to Grant's injuries, both visible and not.

Keep tissues handy.

Keep tissues handy. Grant and Jules take heartache to new heights with their inspiring story. Foster paints an emotional portrait that is not always pretty, but makes quite the impression on a heart. My True Love is a tale of life lessons, hard knocks and uncertain hope that will give the mind something to think about while taking aim at the heart.

Too much religious slang

Too much Christ, God etc during the sex scenes especially. The book would bet 5 stars otherwise.
