worth the wait and then some

I can tell you this I was so excited to get the ebook..... but I was EXCITED!!! when I got the audio. I was excited to see what two people both damaged in different ways and both came out with a different outlook on life and those around them. I loved...LOVED spending time on Silver Island again. Another couple to put under my love from Silver Lake. Community and family.

Now as I was saying in the beginning.... I am not sure where to start with what had me turning each page after page. Grant Silver and Jules Steele were just so good together. They were a match that Grant could not see happening. Jules ever the optimist was all in from go. I want to tell you everything, but I also want you to read it all for yourself. I will tell you this tho it was not easy. It is not all sunshine, roses, and happy faces. This one was work. Grant and Jules had to work for their forever. And that for me was the best part.

I believe that MF has done it again and again. She brings fresh new characters with a spin on their lives, but I could feel at the heart its family, friends, love, and so much more. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to making a new world open up to so many of us. Giving us hope and dreams.

Aiden Snow does his job to perfection. You fall in love with the characters with just his voice connection. Jennifer Mack hello you contribution was not lacking. Thank you. The characters are strong and provide a connection.

Great addition to this series!!

This was such a touching, great story and in true Melissa Foster fashion, she had me hooked to the story from the start to finished. Grant, a disabled yet angry veteran for all that he has lost while struggling to find his present life while being reclusive and distant from those who truly care for him. Enter Jules or Pixie. She is his sister's best friend and a woman that has had feelings for him for some time. She also knows of emotional pain and does not want to see that same time of pain for Grant or his family. She brings light and positivity to Grant and wants to share her happiness for life. The pair have amazing chemistry together and a roller coaster of an emotional story to boot. Also in true Melissa Foster fashion, family plays such an important roll for this pair as it does with all of her books. In the audio version that was narrated by Jennifer Mack and Aiden Snow and this pair did a great job bringing the story to life and making it an enjoyable listening experience. Overall, this was a great read that I enjoyed from page one. I would also recommend this book to others.

Compelling story

Life of a wounded but well loved soldier. Very interesting on using your best words and deeds to heal them.

Keep tissues handy.

Keep tissues handy. Grant and Jules take heartache to new heights with their inspiring story. Foster paints an emotional portrait that is not always pretty, but makes quite the impression on a heart. My True Love is a tale of life lessons, hard knocks and uncertain hope that will give the mind something to think about while taking aim at the heart.

Too much religious slang

Too much Christ, God etc during the sex scenes especially. The book would bet 5 stars otherwise.

Amazing story

This story has Jules and Grant not only looking at their own life but looking at what they could be together. Grant is back from his job with darthbird and he lost a lot on the last mission. Little miss light and rainbows is determined to makes sure what he lost there is all he lost. So she makes it her mission to get Grant back into life even if it is not with her. No matter how much Grant doesn't want to accept all that Jules is doing for him he can't help but crave the little pixie. Will they get their HEA or is there just to much at stake? These narrators really give you another depth to this amazing story. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

We all need a little pixie dust

This book is the second installment in the Silver Island series by Melissa Foster. You meet Jules Steele, who survived cancer when she was a toddler, which makes her have a "let's live live to the fullest" kind of girl. She delivers her own kind of pixie dust wherever she goes. And then there is Grant, who she has known all her life. He has returned home after serving in the military, with a heavy heart after losing his leg. Jules cannot stand seeing him go through such a hard time and not try to help. Grant is not so open to being helped. The fact that he has known her all her life, that she is such a pure and beautiful soul makes him want to stay away at all costs. Well, fairies are irresistible!
The characters are really well developed. You can totally sympathize with what Grant is going through and Jules is sweeter than sweet (but not an annoying character, as it could have happened in the hands of a less skilled writer). It's a joy to see these two find a way to each other and to happiness. There are really sweet moments, really funny ones (be prepared to have "Baby Shark" stuck in your head LOL) and OH SO HOT moments too.
Although this is part of a series, it is a standalone novel. However, I can't emphasize enough that you would be missing a lot if you are not reading the Love in Bloom series. Go grab the other books. You will thank me later.

Beautiful Story!

This is the second book in The Steele at Silver Island Series. Jules And Grant’s story is beautifully written, emotional, heartbreaking, and heartwarming afterward. Jules is such a beautiful character, sweetheart, caring, and supportive. Grant is a survivor, broken, and grumpy. They are opposites attract, but they are so perfect together. Their journey is filled with drama and romance. The supporting characters are amazing. I love the family bonds in this story. Jennifer Mack and Aiden Snow did a fantastic job with the narration. #AudiobookObsession

He spends most of his time angry and alone until his sister's best friend decides it's her mission to bring him back to the person he was before.

A Steamy & Romantic Love Story

This was a steamy and romantic story with so much heart! Melissa Foster’s storytelling is simply amazing with the witty dialogue, tender moments and sexy times between Grant and Jules. I totally adored Jules and how much she supported Grant and got him to live his life again. Narrators Jennifer Mack and Aiden Snow were absolutely fantastic with their performances and really brought the characters and story to life. I loved listening to this audiobook and will definitely be one I re-listen to again.
