Slow-paced tale turns silly
The first part of this book was slow and not very engaging. Often it seemed like a YA selection. I had to crank up the speed to continue. Then, following an unbelievable twist, things became increasingly bizarre to the point of being laugh-inducing. Surprisingly, the storyline did not become more engaging, I had to crack up the speed a couple more times to reach the finish line.
