Great morally grey mafia romance duet

What an exciting rollercoaster of an ending to this duet!

We travel a bit more in this one, there’s more danger and violence, and even some answers to some mysteries I *personally* was wondering about after book 1.

Guinevere and Raffa were just as hot as ever. Guinevere really comes into her own in this one, especially as it pertains to Raffa’s world. 👀

I don’t want to say too much more for fear of *spoilers*, but if you are looking for a deliciously spicy morally grey romance duet: look no further, you have found it! 🤗

Audiobook notes: Ok, ok, ok. Again, I am no expert, but…Dane Anderson’s Italian/Italian accent sounded absolutely fabulous to me. The perfect swoony voice for Raffa. And CJ Bloom was no slouch on the Italian/accent front, and I just love her voice anyway. Definitely recommend the audio, especially since its available for free with your KU subscription… 👀

Passion and danger at every turn!

CJ Bloom and Dane Anderson once again did a phenomenal job with the narration. I loved read the book but knew I had to listen to the audiobook once it went live!

My Dark Ever After by Giana Darling picks up right where book one ended. It's two months later and Guinevere is back home in Michigan.

Within the first two chapters alone there's so much action and adrenaline! I was left on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next!

Just know that Raffa comes to the rescue like an avenging angel to bring his cerbiatta back to Italy! These were everything. The chemistry was once again undeniable. No matter how much Guinevere tried to fight against her feelings.

Someone is after Guinevere and she must now fight back not only to protect herself but to protect those who have become her family.

This duet was so good! Giana is a mastermind storyteller. The suspense and the twists and turns will consume you! Raffa was the perfect dark prince for Guinevere. Now I need all the Mafia romance from Giana!

Gripping story & the perfect ending

Perfect completion to this duet! This might be my favorite mafia romances ever. I loved all the Italian culture and history mixed into such a wild, gripping story. And Rafaela Romano is everything! The writing is completely addicting, and I can’t wait to read more from Giana Darling.

The dual narration is done so well with amazing accents and beautiful Italian. Listening to this book definitely enhanced my experience!

Darkness ever after

This was such a dark, brutal and beautiful ending to Raffa & Guinevere’s love story.
I absolutely loved how fiercely Raffa protects his loved ones, especially Guinevere. He is the morally gray anti hero, who would gladly burn the world down if it meant saving her & keeping her safe.
I love that she embraces Raffa’s darkness & loves him enough to become his huntress and protect him and his own.
This was a dark story filled with betrayal, loss, devastation, destruction, despair. As well as love, hope, family, healing and peace.
This story was consuming and the narration was absolutely amazing. I am sad their story is over, but love how it ended.

Thank goodness we booked ended up on a good note

So was that the only person who was able to tell from book one that Leo and his dad were the bad guys in the story? I mean it’s pretty obvious. But I also really like the story between going a beer and Rafael. I like how I’m going to be your essentially came into her power. And how she got over herself and her high horse.
