After a lifetime in the foster care system, at 26, I received a strange visit. Okay, I may have made it weird, answering the door naked. I find out the truth about my parents, inherit a huge manor house and a fortune, and I find out there’s some weird prophecy about my birth.

I’ve also been tricked into starting the apocalypse by this wicked-looking cat who might be the Antichrist. Did I mention the cat is named after my missing twin brother?

Does anyone know how to evict four hot horsemen of the apocalypse? Asking for a friend...

worst performance

The story is good but listening to all the snoring and laughing is just the worst. wish I had read it myself instead of listening to the audio.

Choppy narration in a paranormal

I wanted to like this, but I just couldn't get past the narrator.

She had apparently graduated from the William Shatner School of Acting. I think she managed to get three or four. Syllables out. Before taking. A breath.

This is a pretty solid no-go for me.

Please re-record

Good book all and all I think.....hard saying because of the extra audio like lip smacking and talking while eating noises need to be removed! Please Please please rerecord!

Bad Narration and A Boring Story

The characterization seems forced. The story wasn't catchy. The narration was abominable. At one point, it was so bad, I skipped 5 chapters. Apparently nothing important happened there because I seamlessly reintegrated into the story. The main character doesnt make you like her. I dont even hate her. I just dont care. By the time the horsemen showed up, I was bored out of my mind. I DNF the novel because I just could not do that to myself. JB Trepagnier has some good books- this is not one.
