Loved it!!!!

I was looking for a murder-mystery and just finished Dust by Patricia Cornwell. All the mysteries suggested to me seemed to pale in comparison to that book until I came across Muzzled! It completely different.
It has an interesting plot but doesn't take itself seriously. You really feel for our protagonist, and as an animal lover, I loved the descriptions of her interactions with her clients just as much as I loved the murder- mystery aspect.
This was a fantastic surprise and I have already downloaded her second book to listen too. The narration was also great. A must for any animal lover who also loves a good mystery!

This book Was An easy listening book. Simple and enjoyable. Listen while I did housework. Did not guess who Did it. Good 1st book

Very enjoyable

I like mysteries that aren’t too dark and heavy. And I love animals so that was fun too. Looking forward to listening to the series.

GREAT FIRST IN SERIES

THIS SERIES HAS IT ALL: AN INTELLIGENT PROTAGONIST, QUIRKY CHARACTERS, A VARIETY OF INTERESTING ANIMALS, AND OF COURSE THE UBIQUITOUS SMALL TOWN. OH, THERE IS ALSO MURDER. THE HINT OF ROMANCE TO COME IS JUST THAT - A HINT. I AM MOVING ON TO BOOK 2 IN HOPES OF ANOTHER COZY ADVENTURE.

Enjoyed the story and reader!! Moves right along, with good characters and plot! I highly recommend!!!

Quick and fun story

I'm a vet tech and although there are some things that bothered me about the story. Duct tape instead of vet wrap, and the absence of any mention of legally required drug logs, to mention a couple of things, but there was enough real medical knowledge that I wasn't too annoyed to finish it.

I did guess who did it pretty early on, not because there was a reason why, but more because the author seemed to hint at it. Although the points of those hints were flimsy. Still the story was entertaining and I was able to get thru the story in a day. I will probably read the next books to see how this character progresses.

Nice, Cozy Mystery

If you want a quick, cozy, mystery to ride along with pets and dog shows in a small town, then dig right in.

No overly dramatic suspense, but enough to keep you guessing.

Could've used some background help

I had a hard time with this book. The level of esoteric detail provided--both veterinary and dog show--should've meant either the author had the background, or access to it. Instead it has glaring problems with simple foundational details. If you're just looking for a cozy mystery and do not have a background in either veterinary medicine, dog showing, or both you may enjoy this. If you do, you will find yourself gritting your teeth or cringing way too often to suspend disbelief and enjoy.

A great reader helps make the story!!

I loved this book. you can tell when an author really knows her subject. I loved her interaction with her patients as she worked to solve the mystery. a great series and I'm looking forward to her next adventure!

I enjoyed this murder mystery! all the animals were so charming and the story was wonderful. I love a good cozy mystery!
