Who would want to murder any of the Bennet daughters?

Charles Bingley, with the help of his friend Fitzwilliam Darcy, must solve that mystery.

But, how did Mr. Bingley become involved in this mystery?

After departing Netherfield, after the ball, for London, Bingley faced a major dilemma. His best friend and his sisters are attempting to persuade him the love of his life does not return his affections. His affections, however, are committed. He has found the only lady he will ever love, and he thought he knew she returned his affections, but persuasion is a powerful tool when used improperly.

Determined to discover the truth about Miss Jane Bennet’s affections, Bingley finally decides to turn to the only person who truly understands Miss Bennet’s feelings – her sister Miss Elizabeth Bennet. Bingley seeks out Miss Elizabeth only to stumble upon a murder in the process. He is fortunate to save one Bennet daughter but too late to save the other.

So, who hates the Bennet family enough to murder two of the daughters? The only one with the answer is unable to speak and is in a deep state of shock.Bingley, Jane, Darcy, and Georgiana will bring all their abilities to the forefront in an attempt to revive the only witness to the murder and attempted murder, but other factors might hinder their progress.

While the story was enjoyable, the narration was lacking, and there were many blatant grammatical errors. This book should have been proofread more thoroughly. In addition, throughout the book, the author tells rather than shows emotion and thought, such as “he knew…” or “she thought…”

Not a fan of AI narration

This sort of soulless narration would suck the joy out of any story. Not a mistake I’ll make again.

Absolutely horrid AI narration.

The computer generated narration is bad, but could be born if there was no other choice and you absolutely had to listen to a particular title. What I found disturbing is the way this author completely flipped the nature of numerous Pride and Prejudice characters. Austen's characters are so well developed that creating these alternative universe versions of them borders on being an insult. Frankly, the other aspects of the novel, such as plot development and dialogue, are nowhere near good enough to compensate for the title's flaws.

Has the author even read P&P?
