Pirate’s Booty

Hope Foster was drawn to Danger Cove by a yoga teacher, Ruby, who she met traveling abroad. Now she’s works at Smugglers Tavern for a great boss. When she finds him dead in his office and they find that she inherits everything, she’s accused of his murder and being a “Black Widow.” Team Hope: Ruby, Vernon, and Harvey, a British treasure hunter, work to prove her innocence. Wonderful performance and story. Love this series. Recommend.

The Story is Good, But....

I like the Danger Cove mysteries and am really trying to enjoy this book, but the very poor quality of the reading is ruining it for me. Every other word is pronounced wrong, and you have to figure out what the word SHOULD be to understand the sentence. PLEASE get a new reader!

A great read!

I am new to this series and I love it. it is fun, interesting, quirky, and suspenseful all at one time. We need more of them to listen to.

A great cozy mystery

easy to listen to, narrator was great at portraying different characters, great storyline. Loved it.

Greedy Murder

I recently got into the Danger Cove mysteries. This being the first in the Cocktail Mysteries group introduced new characters. Hope is a bartender with a secret past. She works for Bob at the Smuggler’s Tavern situated on the bluff over the water. When Bob turns up dead and Hope unexpectedly inherits everything, she is accused of murder. Bob’s ungrateful daughter and nephew make sure to contest the will and push that Hope is the murderer. In order to clear her name, Hope starts her own investigation with her friends Ruby and Vernon. She also meets Harvey, an underwater archaeologist trying to solve the mystery of a sunken ship. There are so many characters that appear to be guilty throughout the story. It’s well written and keeps you wondering. I truly enjoyed the book. So far, this is the best Danger Cove narration that I have listened to. Melissa Disney does a phenomenal job with these characters. You can hear the different feelings expressed in her voice, especially when a character is speaking vs the narrative parts. Can’t wait to hear more!
