This took me back to my childhood, and the multitude of issues we grow up enduring. In the middle of growing up, we don’t always recognize the pain others are in or even our own. I loved the book. I laughed, cried, pondered, got angry. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. I loved the way he depicted the people in his life. The subtle nuances, cadences, and inflections made Reggie's narration of his story enjoyable. I knew when he was his mom, Shucky Ducky, pops. Great job!

This was a wonderful read. I think everyone can find a way to relate to this book. I actually laughed really loud at my desk a couple times. The way he narrates makes the book so relatable. I can’t wait for the next book. I absolutely recommend everyone listen to this book!

Beautifully Flawed

Wow! What a beautifully flawed story. It was the message I didn’t know I needed to hear. There were so many moments of laughing and crying simultaneously and I LOVED it!

This book is the bomb.com! Once I got used to the profanity and realized that’s just Reggie’s vernacular I settled in and enjoyed myself. I’ve known Reggie Hathorn for a number of years. Hearing the book read by him also made it authentic and more enjoyable for me. Reggie will help a lot of people to accept things about themselves that they don’t like and cannot change. It also gives insight to those who have no physical problems as to what those who do go through, especially as children.
