A Pride and Prejudice Variation

What if Mr. Darcy owned Netherfield and was persuaded to take a holiday there as a seemingly a modest gentleman? He has his father's brother, the honourable Judge Darcy, to support him with the heavy burdens on his shoulders during his respite in Hertfordshire after Georgiana’s difficult summer. Elizabeth Bennet does not form her prejudice against Bingley's visitor and a platonic friendship forms. This story contains several adventurous scenarios with mild language and reference to kidnapping and sexual innuendo.

Darcy being deceptive

I liked how Darcy was a hard worker. I did not like that he did not tell Mr. Bennet who he was when given an opportunity. Also how stupid he was about feelings and emotions.
However I could not stop listening to the story. I would sometimes go to the book to read but when driving or needed my hands less where I would listen to the audio.
The Rosings Park was spectacular!

Satisfying solutions

Comeuppance for the harpie, calming of the shrew, a missing friend, lots of tears, a wild deer herds, a coma, kissing trees, a virgin trafficking scheme, a knighthood, and 10 estates! This one is full of imagination. Very entertaining.
