When Elizabeth Bennet's scholarly correspondence with her cousin about Greek philosophy is misconstrued as a secret romance, the scandal threatens not only her reputation but her sister Jane's courtship with Mr. Bingley.

Mr. Darcy must choose between maintaining his social distance from the Bennets and helping Elizabeth—a choice complicated by his growing realization that their shared love of learning masks a deeper connection.

An adaptation of Jane Austen's book, Pride and Prejudice.

Redundancy was distracting.

This could have made a a short story, or a component to a longer work. As is stands, the concepts were repeated over and over—as though the author hadn’t decided yet where to refer to them. It also would have benefited from word and phrase variation.
