Great read and great listen!
This book ticks all the boxes for a hard-boiled noir, and the narrator hits the mark just right. Allan takes a hard look at racism in the legal system without flinching, and the reader feels every punch in the gut as the story unfolds. If you love a mystery with a gut-wrenching twist, this is the book for you. Highly recommend.

Loved this book!
I could not stop listening to this book. It grabbed me from the start. It’s a mystery, a thriller and a legal all in one. I really hope there is going to be more from this author. Please let this book be the first of a series.
