This story was interesting. My only hang up was the actress had a voice one would call an acquired taste . It was hard to listen to .

Just had to stop listening an post that .. I REALLY dislike the daughter. If I saw her trapped in a burning car I would have to think hard about rescuing her .. she being basically a waste of oxygen.

great

j. r rain has made the Samantha Moon series one of my favorites. Samantha was just trying to do her best to take care of her family that she loved very much, when on a night she was attacked and died /or at the time they thought almost. then figured out that she was a vamp. She lost her husband but she kept on going trying to do the best for her kids and learning how to live with what she was how to deal. find out newer greater things about herself and the her kids . keep up the great work.

Enjoyed the great read. I really liked J. R. Rain's history of Sam Moon. Her future isn't bad either. D.Page

another great "read"

the sage continues as Sam gets pulled into a strange case that continues to get more freaky. and Franklin... you'll have to listen to find out!

Too much talk

I have enjoyed this series up to now...But this book had two major problems that made it difficult to finish.
First Samantha babbles too much. A endless monolog that bogs the story line down.
Second Sam often comes across like she giving a lecture on ethics to a bunch of college freshmen.
Enough already!

Pretty Good

The only complaint I usually have with this series is that the books are too short. This book is noticeably longer, but, that time is filled with recaps of previous books and Samantha over analyzing herself and her actions. There was lots of action and the mystery was solid. Overall, I enjoyed this book. I look forward to the next book.

Okay book

I was getting a bit bored with the storyline. It seemed to trail off at times. Also was a bit confusing when they talked about it New Orleans- reference to the 1/2 book.

But it still is pretty darn good, I really enjoyed it, you need to read the first books first.

great story

I really love this story and book keeps getting better and better leading up to something big. I have to be in the mood to read supernatural and this book really put me in that mood. A different take on vampires that makes for great reading. The narrator does a great job telling the story. Can't wait to see where it goes next. Highly recommended
