Amazing book that changed my life

I had the pleasure of meeting Carlos in San Jose, CA when he spoke at Echo Church. I only found him on social media a month before I decided I needed to meet this man. The whole drive over I was beyond nervous because of my anxiety. The second I saw him in the room I started crying because I knew how big of a step this was for me. When I heard him speak it was very transformative and healing. Afterwords he was in the lobby and I could not stop crying right before I met him. To be honest, I almost didn’t meet him. But I remembered what he taught me, to be a moment maker. I did not know if I’d ever have a chance to meet him again so I knew I had to push through the anxiety and overcome my fears. Boy was I happy that I had created that moment for myself. He was very understanding of my situation and I mentioned how much I love this book. This book is very helpful in terms of getting some answers to difficult situation in our lives. I cannot wait to read more of his books. Thank you Carlos for completing my moment.

This book is beautifully written. You will feel like friends well before the end, and are inspired, challenged, and awed along the way. I could not stop listening! The author is real, clever, humble, and gives such wisdom. Perfect, perfect read.

Don’t hesitate and read this book!

This is one of those books that change something in you: our habits, thinking, feelings, etc., and much more.

Carlos really pours out his heart, and you can see that while you read the book. This is my second time reading/listening to Moment Maker, and I have to say, it’s spoke to me differently every time.

From the moment you start reading it you find yourself getting to know the Whittaker family and all the amazing adventures they have. I don’t want to reveal too much, because I want you to read the book.

If you are like me, you need to get a notepad, pens and sticky notes ready. I love details, and Moment Maker has them. Loving the stories was one thing, but I decided to journal as I read the book, I do that all the time. You might as why? It’s simple: the stories, the teaching moments and the reflections you get learn from need to be documented, because if this book will start changing your life, you need to start writing down what you might want to remind yourself later.

This is 1 of 3 books Carlos has written (unless there are more books I am not aware of yet) that are easy to read and enjoy. I’ve met Carlos, and I can tell you that the parts he describes as being the Church to others, going the extra step and getting to know people are true.

So, get ready, grab a treat or coffee, and jump in. The time you will invest in yourself by reading this book is priceless.

I don't understand why people rated so high

I read half of this book and it's just a bunch of cliches. Just go on YouTube and watch some motivational videos so you can get the same value for free.
