Raisin is pointless
Don’t get me wrong, I am enjoying Mrs. Lee’s stories. Most of the characters and storylines are enjoyable. The few things that bother me are like nails on a chalkboard though. 1. Ruthie/Raisin acts like a 12 year old. She has zero likable personality traits. Why is she even in the series? If she is 16 she should act like it. 2. Marisa has to turn into a villain at some point or she is pointless too. How is she a witch and Margret Little’s grand niece? Margret is a muggle, How does that work? 3. How can Scout be in her mid-late 20’s with only Gen-X, pop culture taste? I don’t care how many throwback books and movies her group home life gave her access to, there is no way her culture would only reflect someone in their 50’s.

Love’nThis Series
WHO wouldn’t be thrilled listening to a 3 book package with a very entertaining storyline. The author has endless “bickerings” with the heroine Scout and her shifter boyfriend. I so love the dry humor!!! Great storyline, nice mix of paranormals, excellent narration. I’m glad there are several more books to this series and am ready for my next continued adventure.
