I'm glad I gave this series a chance. The characters are engaging and the the plot is well written and developed. I look forward to the next book.

whole bunch of witches

Winchester witches was my favorite series due to Tilly so combining these are awesome. Evan started out sounding from east coast then changed. story was funny.

Love the Spells Angels!

What is it with our gifted author? First she contracts with Hollis then Megan as narrators. They are two of the worst in the business! Megan is so monotone most of the time I cannot distinguish who us supposed to be talking. When she tries to vary her voices, I cannot distinguish Mama Moon from Cedric the bar owner. Really? Can't some of the money Amanda is making on these books be spent on decent narrators?

But. The voice of the narrator? I found her voice very irritating. I only managed to finish listening because I love these books so much.

Another great story that continues to grow the overall story line. Scout and Tilly together … watch out.

Character

I enjoy the snark repertoire of the characters and the continually development the go through. I also like the combining of the two story lines!! Love those Winchester witches!

Great book

I just love the whole series. Amanda M. Lee is a great writer! I love how all of her books intertwine! I absolutely cannot wait for the next book!!

Hi. I usually only write reviews when an audio book packs a punch and I can't help but sing its praises. This review, though, is something else.
The plot is entertaining and the narrative flows along. The narrator, however, killed it for me within the first five minutes. Her voice is flat, nasal, and vaguely nagging. She puts emphasis on certain syllables and drags them out until my ears bled. i.e. "She was TAAYYY-king it WITH HHHUURrrr..." or : "They CAAHLLed his FAAAHH-thurr."
Ugh. I know this is unkind, but save your money if things like this bother you.
