Ghosts

I really like this series. Really good and entertaining for a quick read. The story moves right along without a lul that so many books tend to have. As in the last book, the love scenes are a little much for me.

A well written ghost mystery by Jana DeLeon. I am looking forward to the rest of this series. I love all the characters.
Johanna Parker has a clear and pleasant voice.
I highly recommend this book.

Harbinger of Death

Quirk characters and Louisiana humour. Helene is a ghost who seems to be seen by people who are in under treat of dying. She’s also a hoot trying to figure out who murdered her. Great series and author. Recommend.

Hilarious and captivating

This book series is so funny. The characters are hysterical. And the plot keeps you guessing and thinking all the way. I couldn't stop listening to it I kept having to go onto the next book.

Interesting Plot

The storyline is fun and suspenseful. At points the language is offensive to me, I avoid cussing in such a manner. So the language takes away from the story for me. The characters are fabulous, funny, fun, and enjoyable.

Great twist to this comedy mystery!

This series gets better and better. The twist that took place this book really made it more interesting. The characters really come to life and close to death!

More fun and games with Sabine in the lead this time! I'm so glad these came out on audio!

LOL Funny

Jana DeLeon has a real talent for writing humor. This series is delightfully entertaining and left me laughing out loud more than a few times. Sabine, Maurice, and Helena Henry encountered one chaotic event after another in this mystery romp through Mudbug, LA.

Medical facts so far from the truth

I’m so worried that readers will take the medical information as being truthful. The story is great but the medical facts are so far from even being remotely true.

Must read, wraps up the series well.

She captures the personality of the characters, specially Helena. She is the perfect compliment to Jana's ribald writing style.

as usual I laughed out load a couple times but not as often as the 1st book.

Any additional comments?

I love the humor, love the audacious way Jana DeLeon writes. Each book alone was great but the story line is too repetitive to read back to back. Stalked damsels, tampered vehicles, shadow lurkers. I look forward to reading her next book but she needs to come up with a new story line or she will lose me.
