Mal, a fearless girl, needs adventure, and her friends are right there with her: Lenna, a dreamer whose family underestimates her every day. Tok and Chug, brothers who love to build stuff (Tok) and smash stuff (Chug). They’re best friends, and in a town whose grown-ups value safety over bravery and fitting in over standing out, they’re the bad apples.

But when a mysterious mob sneaks past Cornucopia’s defenses, the village is in huge trouble. And nobody knows what to do. Finally faced with the adventure she’s always wanted, Mal and her friends defy the rules their elders have always followed and set out beyond the wall for the first time.

On their journey across the Overworld, they discover wonders they’ve never dreamed of and dangers they’ve never imagined. To save the day, they’ll have to prove they’re more than bad apples. They’re the Mob Squad!

Its amazing and the plot is nice. I could not make anything in this story better than it already is. I am obsessed with it.

Listen to them every day and sometimes I stay up till one, 8 AM listening to them I have every single book I keep listening to them 1000 times. Sometimes my parents make me turn off the book.🙁

the multiple narrators fit the people

wow I was on the fence about the multiple narrators but they do in really good

The characters and characters development was excellent!

The story, the plot, the settings, the references to actual Minecraft , the good philosophy that’s behind it. Such as the main characters keep a good head on and not losing their way morally and becoming stronger. Over all an amazing story! Can’t wait to hear the rest of the books when I get them. I too plan to take over a mansion and covert it into a castle of sorts to banish the darkness. At the same time waiting for friends to someday come and fill those seats just like all the characters in this story.

The word usage was very good. Definitely deserves best author of the year. Great cover too. I like the vex shadow in the back.
