Excellent

An excellent and relatable told and preformed masterfully. I can only hope there is more to come in a series.

The plot

I liked the character design. Van Shaw is an interesting complex character. I am looking forward to the next Van Shaw novel.

Too many characters

Very hard to keep track of so many characters in different gangs. Probably fewer characters would have helped the story line. I liked the “hero” Van… not Jack Reacher but an interesting backstory. Might try another book in this series.

Each story is better than the last

I don’t know where the author gets his ideas or how he puts his words together to give so much Miele. Our hero is absolutely lovable. We can find nothing about him to dislike. It just keeps getting better. However, I have just learned that or. C. Brady will not be the next narrator. This disturbs me greatly. I’ll just have to wait and see how it goes.

Good Narrarator

A bit convoluted and random but not a bad listen. Fine when you’re multi tasking and willing away the time.
