A stage of life

Luckily, menopause is still a long way away still. However, it is vital to get prepared early for a stage of life that will have a profound effect on both the body and mind. It was insightful to understand the different stages of menopause and that it is preceded by perimenopause. It was great that complex medical information was presented in an engaging and simple way. I learnt that the body makes three different types of estrogen, for example. This is certainly a useful resource for anybody looking to take the stress out of navigating this new stage of life.

Just What the Doctor Ordered

As a woman starting to embark on the menopause journey, I am so glad I found this book. Entering menopause can feel a little scary, and a bit fearful of all of the changes that are yet to come. I found this book hilarious; it really lightened the situation and made me feel like I could get through it. It was uplifting, and the tone was casual, relatable, and friendly. The narration kept me engaged while providing such helpful and insightful information. Ladies, you need this book!

Very engaging listen for my mom

It’s funny, super relatable, and made me more patient and supportive for my mom. I used to feel confused (and a little helpless) when she’d suddenly get emotional or blast the AC in the middle of winter. Now I get it. A must-listen for every menopausal mom

So I played this audiobook in the car while my mom was with me, and we ended up listening to it together. We were laughing like crazy at some parts.. especially the way it called out those "random chin hairs" and hot flashes like they were everyday events.
