Felt very disjointed

Timelines just don’t add up. How in the heck did we lose 4 years in Paris? That didn’t fit. The writing style in this book is not at all like the first book. It’s divided into 3 books that seem to make no sense together until that last 2 minutes (you can guess before that, but still). I already bought all the books in the series based on the preview so I’m not a quitter, it’s just not my favorite working style.

That as not an ending!

What the heck kind of an ending was that???? It didn’t end it just stopped. Is there another book that picks up where it left off??

What the heck kind of ending was that? It was so abrupt and made no sense. Decent story though

Not what I expected

I liked the story and learned a lot. As a Jew myself I was familiar with a lot of the customs and words, but at times I felt that the use of stereotypical “jewisms” was overdone. I think the writing in Roberta Kagans Blood Sisters series was far superior to this series. Plus, I did not enjoy the narrator. All of her voices sounded the same, so contrary to the narrator in The Blood Sisters Series. She was excellent. Still, I did enjoy these books but I guess I expected a little more after the previous series.
