Very enjoyable

This is a great story, with strong narration. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to Mansell fans.

Goosebrook tourism

I honestly wish I could visit Goosebrook! This is a well-told story, with delightful characters who I wish I could revisit and see how they are getting on! The only thing that jarred me out of the story was the occasional term that had been obviously Americanized (which is odd for an author from Bristol). All in all, a sweet, low-stress story.

I enjoyed this book. The storyline was crisp and narration wonderful. Great read. Characters were great.

Good

So far, this is my second book by this author. I enjoyed this story and town best of the two. It was funny and engaging.
I did feel the story was too light on time spent romancing the MCs. The near misses definitely added anticipation, but I never got that they considered themselves as soulmates as the jacket summary described.

My new favorite author,but…

I really enjoyed this story and loved that it was a sweet romantic tale but have to give it four stars because of two annoying things. 1. The author used the word brilliant at least 200 times until it detracted from the story. 2. This is an AUDIBLE book so the narrators voice should sound like the character portrayed. The male characters sounded like a woman trying to sound like a man. Just doesn’t work for me. You never hear a male narrator tasked with trying to sound like a woman’s voice. Why not? Because it just doesn’t work,

Fun light listen

Always love Jill’s stories and cheeky humor. Pleasure to read. She does not disappoint with this story

This was a really good listen! If I had one complaint it's that it was a little too long. Lots of fluff that didn't really add to the story. But I definitely enjoyed it.

A Cotswold charm

Cozy and comfortable. Characters brilliant although a smidge predictable. Absolutely adored the narration. Would enjoy more by this author and narrator.
