Another great book in this series.

Joe Arden and Virginia Rose did another amazing job narrating, this time for Parker and Kayla’s story.

My heart hurt for Parker and everything he had to endure when he was growing up and even when he became an adult. Kayla had a sad upbringing as well and I feel like that made these two kindred spirits in a way.

I loved the Kayla had a special way with Carmen, Parker’s dog, especially since she didn’t like women at all. I was actually hoping for a bit more drama and action in this story. We got a little bit towards the end but I just needed more.

Loving this series.

It tore me apart, but I loved it

This wasn’t the week for this book. It was beautiful, heartbreaking, tragic, and hot. I don’t know how she continues to make me feel better after tearing my entire soul from my body!!
Whew.. It tore me apart but I loved it.

Favorite LLV book. And I’ve read almost all of hers!

I am on chapter 6 of this book and I already know it’s my favorite of ALL of LLVs books.
First, I love Joe Arden. He is a great narrator. So I was happy to see him as a narrator. I never heard Virginia Rose before (that I can remember) and I really like her!
And I love both the main characters! The suspense side story is great.
Like I said, already can tell it’s my favorite LLV book!

Parker and Kayla

Parker and Kayla were perfect, they had a sizzling connection with beautiful chemistry. They brought the best out of one another. I enjoyed everything about this book. Narration was fantastic.

THAT EPILOGUE!!!

I love it so much how all these series are interconnected!

And moreover, I love it when a bad guy gets what’s coming. Add a beautiful “HAPPILY EVER AFTER” and it becomes perfection!

I REALLY LOVE Joe Arden! His performance along with Virginia Rose’s is as good as it gets.

Love when the bad guy isn’t really that bad and falls for the good girl. Story had good flow and we catch up with characters from other series.

Kayla is by far the funniest character. This book was perfect. I laughed and cried. Another fantastic book!

This is now becoming one of my favorite books by LLv

I love how Kayla talks ALL the Time! But she is also very curious and gets straight to the point. Example. In response to some lady saying her dog can’t be in public...her reply:

“Maybe you and your terrible manners shouldn’t be in public”.

Seriously....everyone thinks it but no one actually says it. I love Kayla!! Oh! And her fascination with holes?? Again I always want to poke my finger through it but don’t....well guess who does! My new idol!

Parker—whoa! What a life this man has led. This guy though has shuffled through and is surviving on the other side...until Kayla appears in his life. His tolerance and kindness is unheard of. The things this guy did....he is as much a favorite of mine as Kayla is. That letter from her father at the end...tears! I’m telling you just tears!!
Now this is another large age gap difference which I am not a huge fan of....oh did I tell you this is a favorite LLV book for me? Yeah...I guess I got over that issue :-)
