It tore me apart, but I loved it

This wasn’t the week for this book. It was beautiful, heartbreaking, tragic, and hot. I don’t know how she continues to make me feel better after tearing my entire soul from my body!!
Whew.. It tore me apart but I loved it.

Favorite LLV book. And I’ve read almost all of hers!

I am on chapter 6 of this book and I already know it’s my favorite of ALL of LLVs books.
First, I love Joe Arden. He is a great narrator. So I was happy to see him as a narrator. I never heard Virginia Rose before (that I can remember) and I really like her!
And I love both the main characters! The suspense side story is great.
Like I said, already can tell it’s my favorite LLV book!

Parker and Kayla

Parker and Kayla were perfect, they had a sizzling connection with beautiful chemistry. They brought the best out of one another. I enjoyed everything about this book. Narration was fantastic.

Another great book in this series.

Joe Arden and Virginia Rose did another amazing job narrating, this time for Parker and Kayla’s story.

My heart hurt for Parker and everything he had to endure when he was growing up and even when he became an adult. Kayla had a sad upbringing as well and I feel like that made these two kindred spirits in a way.

I loved the Kayla had a special way with Carmen, Parker’s dog, especially since she didn’t like women at all. I was actually hoping for a bit more drama and action in this story. We got a little bit towards the end but I just needed more.

Loving this series.

crazy good

I've read and listen to this book twice. And each time it seems like I'm reading it or listening to it for the first time. Am a Lani Lynn Vale fan for life. But this book hit differently.

THAT EPILOGUE!!!

I love it so much how all these series are interconnected!

And moreover, I love it when a bad guy gets what’s coming. Add a beautiful “HAPPILY EVER AFTER” and it becomes perfection!

I REALLY LOVE Joe Arden! His performance along with Virginia Rose’s is as good as it gets.

Enjoyed this book

Love when the bad guy isn’t really that bad and falls for the good girl. Story had good flow and we catch up with characters from other series.

Perfect

Kayla is by far the funniest character. This book was perfect. I laughed and cried. Another fantastic book!

I love the book. Of course, actor Joe Arden did a phenomenal job, author Lani Lynn Vale , who is phenomenal herself. As for the female narrator, she's not my favorite at all; she sounds really nasal, but I'm still giving it five stars.

So much fun

This was such a fun listen, Virginia Rose has the best comedic delivery - and so many of the best lines. The chapter titles will crack you up!! There was a lot to love about this book, the writing, the narration - it was all you wanted in a listen. Joe Arden again delivered a fantastic performance and you felt for his character many times, you were really rooting for him.
