"Finishing Well" is the name of the game. Here was a rich, young ruler - a first century "yuppie" if you will - who, although getting off to a rather problematic beginning, finished well, indeed. A rich young ruler questioned Christ about what he needed to do to inherit eternal life. Mark's Gospel includes a detail that Matthew and Luke failed to mention: "And Jesus looking upon him loved him..." This hints at the possibility that young John Mark himself may have been that rich young man.

Enlightened!

Excellent Bible Commentary
What did you love best about Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary on the Whole Bible, Vol. 2?
The Commentary by Matthew Henry.
Any additional comments?
The only reason I gave the book a 4 Star Rating is because of the chapter setup. Bibles, Commentaries and Anthology type books have no way to identify the books within the book. So you have to find the start of each book within the chapters. I wish there was a way Audible could release these types of books with each book and chapter identified.
I created a TOC. Hopefully this helps.

Wonderful
Matthew Henry is an overwhelming book to read and so it is wonderful to listen as one works or occupied with other duties. Time passes very quickly listening to this audio book.

This IS NOT Matthew Henry! It's a Paraphrase!
This IS NOT a concise Matthew Henry Commentary! It is a Commentary or Paraphrase of Matthew Henry's Commentary. Very few actual words from Matthew Henry compared to the one writing said Commentary.
The Publisher should be ashamed of presenting this as a concise work of Matthew Henry. I do not say that the writer of this Commentary does not present some good commentary, but I have both Matthew Henry's Complete Commentary and very little of his wording is included, as I indicated, compared to the one making the paraphrase.
