Masterpiece

It’s been a great journey listening through the 1st and 2nd volume. My understanding of the Bible has grown and I’m grateful this man of God left this for those seeking to learn the word of God and grow.

The only reason I gave the book a 4 Star Rating is because of the chapter setup. Bibles, Commentaries and Anthology type books have no way to identify the books within the book. So you have to find the start of each book within the chapters. I wish there was a way Audible could release these types of books with each book and chapter identified.

Enlightened!

This commentary is making clear to me some things in the Bible that I did not understand. The tone and cadence of the speaker make it very easy to listen to. I am very grateful for this resource!

Wonderful

Matthew Henry is an overwhelming book to read and so it is wonderful to listen as one works or occupied with other duties. Time passes very quickly listening to this audio book.

Excellent, but need to say what book he's in with the chapter, if you fall asleep, you have to guess where he is.

I really enjoyed this extra information and learning right along side daily bible reading.

This volume was hard for me to navigate

I found both commentaries hard to navigate, It was hard to find specific text items that I wanted to locate by headings. The chapters were not helpful nor was headings easy to find. It was too dense with words all in small print. I will continue to look for a commentary that has more of the features that help a reader to search through the pages of text.
