A story anyone can learn from

I truly enjoyed every second of this book, Eli is a great story teller. I saw it all like a movie in my head. Anytime someone is going through something major or hit rock bottom, I’ll recommend it.

As a mother of a little boy, I’d love for him to read it one day. Thank you for sharing your story, Eli!

Great memoir that resonates with me in so many ways. Invest in yourself. Mind, body and soul. Take ownership, forgive and seek wisdom. Eli never tried to preach, he simply used his life experiences and shared his journey of progression.

This book is a must read as it gives the reader an inside view of LA nightlife and serves as motivation. This book is relatable and the inspiration that this book provides can be applied to anyone’s life. Thank you Eli for sharing your life with the world 🤙

Good story, not a great audiobook

The podcast style interruption between is lame and doesn’t add to the story. The book is decent, it’s a good story filled with tons of self torture. Glad he found running and good health.

Raw, authentic and inspiring

To me, the best way to inspire is to become extremely raw and authentic with your own journey.
It's something most people shy away from, for we're taught to save face. More so for people who are in the public eye - the armour that is put up is near impossible to crack because showing weaknesses and failures can be crippling to your status and your social circles.

Eli didn't shy away from this. He gave us everything of himself and the stories were very human and vulnerable. I'm not at all in the Hollywood nightlife scene, but seeing how he managed to get himself out of the flame of living a life that wasn't his, followed by being dragged through the dirt and coming out stronger was inspiring beyond belief and he's made me want to become a better person as a result of it.

Transformation and a incredible journey through self discovery💫

Such a great read! This is one of the first audiobooks I have read in full and I am now dictate. Throughout the story I laughed, cried, and realized that in so many ways I could relate to the story too. I drink alcohol for eight years almost daily and I can proudly say after a eight year bender I am now sober and pescatarian, on my way to being fully plant based one day, I’m so proud of all the positive changes I’ve had in life, I feel like a new woman. This book made me realize that I’m not alone. Good things take time. It’s become the best version of yourself, no one can make you transform other than YOU.

Incredible story and so entertaining

Let me start by saying I am not a huge reader and my attention is lost quickly when reading, but I finished this book within a few days because it is such an entertaining and relatable story to those of us living in LA or curious about what it’s really like behind the scenes here. Elias is a great storyteller and absolutely nailed it. Hoping for a sequel!

Wow I am so glad I bought this book, I finished the audiobook in one day. I just love how open and honest Eli was. From struggling to find his true identity, to spending 15 years in the nightclub industry, Eli found his purpose. Its to use his life experiences, addictions, and successes to help others be a better person. Thats what this book does. It is so inspiring, and I think I am going to be a different person moving forward. I know it sounds cheesy, but its true. If you are finding yourself needing inspiration to get you out of a rut, addiction, or just want to be inspired. BUY THIS BOOK. Thank you so much Eli for using your words to inspire others to be the best version of themselves.
